01 Project snapshot

A business website built around products, processing and applications.

ZEM Steel needed a website that could communicate more than a list of materials. Business buyers also need to understand processing capability, end-use knowledge and how to begin a technical conversation.

Business context
Stainless steel product and fabrication business serving B2B buyers.
Key content
Products, processing capabilities, industries, company information and inquiry.
Primary audience
Procurement teams, product companies and buyers seeking fabrication support.

02 The challenge

Capabilities had to be understandable before a buyer requested a quote.

Industrial websites often present products, machinery and industries as separate lists. The project needed to show how they connect, so a buyer could identify both relevant material and the processing support behind it.

03 Goals

Help buyers evaluate fit with less friction.

  • Create clear entry points for products, processing and applications.
  • Use manufacturing imagery and page hierarchy to establish credibility.
  • Make technical capability easier to scan.
  • Connect relevant content to visible inquiry paths.
  • Build a structure that can grow with new products and industries.

04 Strategy & structure

Separate the content types, then connect the buyer journey.

Products explain what is available. Processing pages explain what can be done. Industry pages show where those capabilities can apply. Cross-links and inquiry calls to action help visitors move between those perspectives without returning to the homepage.

05 Visual direction

Confident manufacturing visuals with disciplined content blocks.

The design uses strong imagery, substantial type and precise layouts to communicate industrial capability. Information stays ordered and readable, avoiding the crowded appearance common to large supplier websites.

06 WordPress build

Reusable content patterns across products and industries.

The WordPress system supports repeatable sections for product categories, processes, application content and inquiry prompts. This makes the experience more consistent for visitors and easier to expand over time.

07 Outcome

A more complete presentation of an industrial B2B business.

The website gives ZEM Steel a clearer way to present what it supplies, what it can process and which business needs it can support. Visitors have more direct paths from evaluation to inquiry.
