01 Project snapshot

A research-focused website with clear content boundaries.

Epitagen combines scientific education with a research product catalog. The website needed to support exploration while communicating research-use context and keeping product information organized.

Business context
Research-peptide supplier with scientific and catalog content.
Key content
Science, catalog, product detail and research-use notices.
Primary audience
Qualified research and professional visitors evaluating available products.

02 The challenge

Product browsing needed scientific context and controlled access cues.

A catalog-only experience would leave important context behind, while a science-only website would make products difficult to discover. The project called for a clear relationship between education, categories and individual research products.

03 Goals

Make the experience informative, structured and intentional.

  • Explain the scientific area before visitors enter the catalog.
  • Create a repeatable structure for product information.
  • Keep research-use messaging visible in appropriate contexts.
  • Support both broad catalog exploration and direct product access.
  • Deliver a consistent mobile experience across content types.

04 Strategy & structure

Three layers: context, catalog and product detail.

The Science area establishes background and intent. The Catalog provides the broad discovery layer. Individual product pages then organize specific information in a consistent format. This separation prevents every page from trying to carry the entire story.

05 Visual direction

A precise interface with a distinct research identity.

The visual system uses controlled contrast, consistent labeling and product-focused layouts. The age and research-use confirmation is treated as a functional state in the experience rather than a decorative overlay.

06 WordPress build

Content templates that keep a growing catalog consistent.

Reusable WordPress patterns support science content, catalog browsing and product pages. The responsive implementation keeps notices, product information and navigation understandable across viewport sizes.

07 Outcome

A more coherent path from research context to product information.

The website brings scientific explanation and product discovery into one structured system. Visitors can understand the context, browse the catalog and review individual entries without losing the site's research-use framing.
